Imprisonment
1996–2011: the conviction, the author’s denial, and what he published from prison.
Editorial text · written for the 2026 reconstruction
In 1996 Siniša Dvorski was convicted of the killing of former tourism minister Anton Marčelo Popović, according to Croatian press reports. He served fifteen years. His own writings describe torture during arrest, a forced confession, and harsh prison conditions in Lepoglava. They were written as petitions and complaints to the Croatian authorities and later published on crorambo.com.
Both sides of the record are presented here: the contemporary press and the author’s testimony.
